GOAL:
HMI to integrate into medical equipment. It will have to handle different types of screens, touch panels, communication with control equipment and wireless communications.
SOLUTION:
Carrier based on the imx6 RBZ module with support for solutions from one core to 4 cores.
GOAL:
White light source for wireless arthroscopy (WAD), The light source must be 1W with adjustable color temperature, controlled by BLE, capacity of at least 2 hours of uninterrupted operation and waterproof casing with no ability to open once assembled.
SOLUTION:
A Nordic cortex M4 was chosen as the controller, which includes BLE communications and basic peripherals. For the recharging of the internal LiPo battery, the QI standard for wireless recharging was chosen. The equipment is sealed during its manufacture, but can be monitored and recharged during its lifetime.
GOAL:
To design a card for the control of a dentist’s chair. This card must be compatible with the previous design at an electrical, mechanical and functional level.
SOLUTION:
The design is made around a Cortex M3 type microcontroller with the FreeRTOS operating system. Both the shape and all the connectivity are compatible with the previous solution. This way, it is possible to update and maintain all the equipment available in the market.
